When you want to order a network consider the following:
a) Cord´s reference (multi-filament): 210/6, 210/8 , 210/9, 210/12, 210/15, 210/18, 210/21, 210/24, 210/27, 210/30, 210/36, 210/48, 210/54, 210/72, 210/90, 210/120.

b) Color: Black (waterproofed) or white, green, blue, inter alia.

c) depth of: number of meshes

d) length of: in fathoms or meters

e) specifications of: the mesh size is calculated by measuring the distance in inches from the middle of the opposite knot.

CAST NET

A cast net is a small circular net with a conic shape. It´s handled by only one man. It is used mainly for fishing in rivers and lakes; it can also be used in the sea. This net doesn´t have buoys, but it has an edge of sinkers so that it opens in a circle, when it is thrown in the air and submerges this way in the water. When it is pulled, it closes trapping the fish. In Colombia, the casting net is the basic tool of native handcrafted fishing.
